Jan. 23 Movie Screening and Panel to Address Mental Health in the Asian American Community

MCPS, in partnership with the Asian American Health Initiative and the Montgomery County Government, will have a movie screening of the documentary film, “Silent War: Asian American Reckonings with Mental Health,” followed by reflection from one of the individuals in the film and a moderated panel discussion. “Silent War” is a documentary that profiles members of the Asian American community who share personal battles with mental illness. 

The screening will be held from 5:30–8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at Thomas S. Wootton High School, 2100 Wootton Parkway in Rockville.

The event will also include resource tables for students, parents and community members.
