SSL Awards Documentation Deadline April 5

The required documentation for middle and high school SSL Awards is Friday, April 5. This deadline is for high school and middle school students who exceeded the documented SSL hour requirements. Students must submit all SSL forms, including the MCPS Form 560-51, to their school’s SSL Coordinator by this required deadline.
The Certificate of Meritorious Service is awarded to seniors who have 240 or more SSL hours documented on their SSL record. The Superintendent’s SSL Award is given to any middle school student who has completed the 75-hour SSL graduation requirement for the first time.
For all students looking to document SSL hours for the year, SSL forms should be submitted on a rolling basis, but no later than the required deadline of Friday, May 31.
All MCPS students must earn 75 SSL hours to graduate from high school. Middle school and high school students should continue earning SSL hours towards their SSL graduation requirement by engaging in virtual/remote and/or in-person SSL opportunities.
