Returning Students Parent Information Survey
Planning for Next Year
As we begin to plan for students to articulate to the next grade for the fall, we need your help. Please let us know if your child will not return to Ashburton and where they will go. You may also fill out a Parent Survey about your child as a learner. We use that input when building classes, along with teacher input, to better understand your child’s strengths and needs.
- Please complete the "Will Not Return to Ashburton" survey to provide information about your family's move, planned move, or change of schooling for the 2024-2025 school year. Please also complete the form if you have moved or plan to move but will remain in Ashburton. The office staff will then contact you to request updated housing information. Up to date mailing information is critical for enrollment, final report card and any summer mailings.
If your family has not moved and you do not have changes to your plans for the next school year, you do not need to complete the form.
Fifth-grade parents do not need to complete this survey. Students' files will automatically get sent to North Bethesda Middle School unless we hear that your child will go to another school or you are moving out of the area.
Please complete the form by May 24th.
- Additionally, we value parent's input and want to collect information about your child as we plan classes for the 2024-2025 school year. The survey gives parents an opportunity to describe their child as a learner by noting strengths, growth areas, and other relevant information. The Ashburton team does not take requests for individual teachers; therefore, please do not use the survey to request specific teachers. As we have about 860 students, it is not possible for us to meet individually with families. However, the administration, counselors, and teachers will consider the information you share as we make decisions about class placements. Please do not email Mrs. Reese or the counselors separately; this will be our database to work from for all information related to class placement for next year.
