Paying it Forward- 2020 Kia Soul Donated to the ATF by ComTech to Help a Family in Need
The Automotive Trades Foundation (ATF) would like to thank the Hobbs family, owners of ComTech Systems, Inc. for their incredible generosity. ComTech provided the 2020 Kia Soul that was given to a Montgomery County family in need.
Mike Hobbs and his family were on hand to celebrate the donation of the vehicle at Damascus High School. Mr. Hobbs shared that ComTech is a very family and community-oriented company. They are grateful for the opportunities that they have to serve the community as a corporation and they are always looking for ways to give back.
As part of a desire to help a family in need, ComTech graciously donated their Kia to the ATF. Students in the automotive classes utilized the car as a training tool, performed required maintenance, and refurbished the car. Once the car was restored, ATF representatives, MCPS staff, students, and the Hobbs family presented the car to a needy local family.
