Automotive Trades Foundation

Yearly, the Montgomery County Public Schools’ Board of Education (BOE) opens up nominations for their “Distinguished Service Awards (DSA).” In May 2024, the recipients were announced and presented with their award. We’re excited to share that Automotive Trades Foundation Vice President Farzad Makarehchi, from DARCARS, was the recipient of an “Individual Service Award.”

We would like to extend our congratulations and thanks to Farzad and the DARCARS team. Through their unending support, they have helped MCPS automotive programming to become one of the highest regarded training programs throughout the United States.
