Bannockburn Elementary School

The MCPS policy for elementary students is that they may use cell phones and other personal mobile devices before and after the student day. This applies to smart watches, cell phones, tablets, ereaders, etc.

If students have a personal mobile device, it must be turned off and in their backpacks. They cannot access it during the school day or while on the bus.

We recognize that some parents want their children to have devices for safety reasons. Please know that students may come to the office at any time of the day if there is an emergency and they need to contact a parent.
