- Mrs. Amy Thompson: This is my 12th year of teaching and my 5th year teaching at Barnsley. I have taught 5th grade all of my teaching career. I attended Stevenson University for my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I then went to Notre Dame of Maryland University where I obtained my Master’s degree in Leadership in Teaching Mathematics. I have been married for 2 years. I have a son named Connor and a dog named Bear. In my free time, I love to dance and exercise, travel (especially to the beach), complete 1000-piece puzzles, read murder mystery novels, and relax spending time with my family and friends.
