Teachers
- Mrs. Cynthia Kozorosky (Grade 4): Mrs. Kozorosky is beginning her 2nd year teaching in the Center Program. She earned a B.A. in Marketing/Business at University of Maryland and a Master’s Degree in Education at Johns Hopkins University. She has three children aged 22, 24, and 26. She loves the outdoors, animals, and music!
- Ms. Jennifer MacNeil (Grade 5): Ms. MacNeil is beginning her 19th year at Barnsley and her 26th year of teaching. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Vermont and a Master’s Degree in Education from
U.C.L.A . Her hobbies include reading, skiing and waitressing!
- Ms. Lori Perlman (Grade 5): Mrs. Perlman has over 30 years of experience in Maryland and Massachusetts teaching grades 4-6. This is her 13th year teaching at Barnsley and her 5th year teaching in the Center program. She earned her teaching degree from Towson University. She is mom to two awesome young adults. In her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling, and any activities in the great outdoors!
- Ms. Jennifer Pellicci (Grade 4): Ms. Pellicci has been teaching within the county for 19 years, and this is her fourth year at Barnsley. She earned her B.A. in Education, with an emphasis in math, at the University of Maryland College Park. She is also certified to teach math at the middle school level. She has a seven year old daughter named Channing, and a golden retriever and boxer mix named Bruno. She loves to ride horses, and anything thrilling like skydiving!
- Mrs. Elyse Ridges (Grade 4): Mrs. Ridges is beginning her 18th year teaching in the Center program at Barnsley. Prior to that, she taught for four years in Fox Chapel Center Program, She has a B.S in American Studies from U.M.B.C and a Master's Degree from Johns Hopkins University with a focus on Gifted Education. She has a daughter who is 6½ years old and a son who is five years old!
- Ms. Janna Shrank (Grade 5): Ms. Schrank is beginning her 17th year teaching in MCPS and her 5th year in the Center Program at Barnsley. Ms. Schrank has a B.A. in Geography and Environmental Science from UMBC and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel University. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, traveling, reading, and the New York Yankees!
