- Mrs. Nicole Hoppman: I love teaching kindergarten! I especially enjoy helping Barnsley’s youngest students foster a love for school and develop a passion for books and reading. I previously taught 1st grade at Barnsley and worked as the AP in a private school. I have a masters in early childhood education and am a MCPS grad. I'm a proud Air Force family mom to 3 sons. My husband and I also have two tiny granddaughters. My baking business is growing and my summers spent in Bethany Beach recharge me!
- Ms. Heather Hoskins: I attended the University of Maryland where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am originally from California, but I fell in love with the east coast and decided to stay. This is my 18th year here at Barnsley. I have taught both Kindergarten and 2nd grade. In my free time I like to craft, watch movies, and spending time with my nieces and nephews.
- Mrs. Shaina Shariati: Hello, my name is Mrs. Shariati! I attended Salisbury University for my degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I have experience teaching pre-k, Headstart, first grade, and third grade. I am so excited to be teaching Kindergarten at Lucy V Barnsley for my sixth year! I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, riding roller coasters, and watching the Eagles win!
- Mrs. Lori Szeliga: This is my 24th year teaching. I love to teach kindergarten! My husband, Dave, and I have two sons and a dog named Archer. We enjoy watching sports, especially the Baltimore Orioles, the Baltimore Ravens and UMD basketball. We also love to travel. I'm looking forward to a great year with all the kinders.
