BCC ‘s Chinese Honor Society is a chapter of National Chinese Honor Society. Students who have earned an “A” in Chinese language and 3.5 GPA for three semesters will be eligible to join the Chinese Honor Society. The mission is to promote practicing and understanding of Chinese language and culture in daily life. Its members sponsor several cultural activities each year and conduct weekly tutoring for all Chinese classes. |

The Kathryn Kirk Chapter of the National English Honor Society was founded at B-CC during the 2016-17 school year. The English Honor Society aims to celebrate students with a passion for English and encourage students to share their talents with their peers. Students with at least a 3.0 who have completed their freshmen year are eligible for membership. The English Honor Society provides tutoring for all B-CC students during lunch (11:30-12:00) every Wednesday via Zoom. |

The French Honor Society is a national organization that seeks to recognize students who excel in French, to promote Francophone cultures, and to provide mentoring to students studying French. The FHS inducts new members each year in the early fall. Guidelines for membership require that students must be in at least 10th grade, have an unweighted, overall grade point average of 3.0, that they have an unweighted average of 3.5 for the last three semesters of French (e.g. in the last three semesters you must have earned either three As or two As and one B), and that students be currently enrolled in French 5, 6, 7, IB6, IB7 or AP. To Maintain active status students must maintain membership admission requirements, earn four FHS service hours per semester, and attend all scheduled meetings.
In addition to mentoring, members engage in activities related to Francophone cultures. |

A vibrant community of motivated and inspired students exemplifying scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Juniors and seniors are eligible for NHS if they are strong students (weighted cumulative GPA of 4.25+) who display a positive individual character and are involved in their school communities in both service and leadership (having earned 80+ SSL hours).. |

The Rosa Montero Chapter of the National Spanish Honor Society recognizes high student achievement in Spanish and promotes a continuity of interest in Hispanic Studies.
