Bengals in the Teacher Academy of Maryland (TAM) doing great things!
Three Blake Bengals placed 1st and 2nd in the state of Maryland’s Educators Rising Lesson Planning and Delivery competition. At the varsity level, Margaret Cidade-Harkleroad (senior) placed 1st and Jasonta Juddah (senior) placed 2nd. Mia Rickman (sophomore) placed 1st at the Junior Varsity level. Students created a lesson plan, delivered that lesson to elementary or middle school students, and reflected on the lesson during this competition. These students will go on to compete at the Educators Rising National Conference in June, where their lessons will be nationally recognized.
