Scholastic Book Fair - The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to BES the week of December 11, 2023. The book fair will be open Monday, December 11th through Thursday, December 14th, during the school day and Friday, December 15th until 11:30. The book fair will also be open on Tuesday, December 12th, after school until 6:00 p.m. for families to shop. Please visit our book fair website, for more information. Directions for setting up an e-wallet can be found on the website. We will need volunteers to help the book fair run smoothly. TOY DRIVE: The Burtonsville Community is working with neighbors to collect toys this holiday season for children in need. The event is proudly sponsored by Colesville Dentistry and Squisito Pizza and Pasta. Squisito is also offering a complimentary slice of pizza and soft drinks to donors. If you wish to have your child receive a gift, please fill out and submit the form linked here, no later than December 14, 2023.
Personal Body Safety Lessons - During the months of November and December, our school counselors will be presenting lessons on the topic of child abuse and neglect. A letter with more information about the lessons can be found here.
