School & Community News…

If you missed the Art Show at Westfield Montgomery Mall - featuring our Burtonsville STARS, several talented and creative BES students showcased their art in our school's exhibit near NORDSTROM.  Congratulations, Sara Yihdego, for being selected among the outstanding artwork from Montgomery County Elementary schools!  Click here to watch a short video of our student’s display.

Join us for our second annual Burtonsville’s Got Talent Show🎤 - Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm Our STARS will take the stage this year and share their talents at Paint Branch High School.  The PTA will sell slices of pizza during the event. This is an event you do not want to miss! 

Parent volunteers of students in grades 3 and 5 are needed for Field Day  Friday, May 24, 2024, from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.   Please contact our PE teacher, Janine Vernot, if you are available to help.


A Message from our PTA:

Cultural Night is on Friday, May 17, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the blacktop. Come out to share your culture with fun facts, performances, music, and more! We are still looking for volunteers to host a cultural-themed table or to help at the event. To sign up online and for more information, please visit www.burtonsvillepta.org/event-details/cultural-night-2024. Registration to host a table has been extended to Monday, May 13, 2024.
