Zamzam Salhan, 3rd grade teacherI am a proud third-grade teacher with a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland, College Park. Teaching has always been my passion, and I love the joy of seeing the light bulb go off in students' heads as they discover new concepts. I have an extensive background in education. I mentored elementary students in high school and worked at an early education center throughout college. My teaching philosophy is every child needs a hug and a moment to breathe. Outside of teaching, you’ll find me reading, enjoying a good chai latte, crocheting, watching Turkish dramas, or spending time with my loved ones. I am so excited to be a part of the third-grade team at Chevy Chase ES. |
