Diane Vincent, Reading Specialist
I am originally from a small town called Olyphant, Pennsylvania and am a proud graduate of Pennsylvania State University. However, I have lived in Maryland since 1998, and have worked at Chevy Chase Elementary School since 2005. I have earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction, am Nationally Board-Certified in the area of literacy, and am certified in reading in the state of Maryland. In my free time I enjoy watching football (Go Eagles!), exercising, reading, and going to the beach. My favorite foods are pizza and sushi, and I enjoy hanging out with my wonderful daughters, Lucy and Livvy. I am currently working on writing a children's book and hope to get it published someday. Being a member of the Chevy Chase community has been such a blessing in my life.

Joan O'Brien, Staff Development Teacher
I have been an MCPS teacher in many capacities for over 25 years! Currently I serve as the staff development teacher. My main job is to support all teachers in implementing new initiatives as well as supporting individual needs. In my free time I love to take and edit pictures, watch sporting events, cook and play with my three dogs – Ally, Callie and Harper! |
