Administration

Principal Hambrecht
Natalie Hambrecht, Principal

Welcome to Cold Spring Elementary School!  I am honored and humbled to serve the students, staff, and families of this wonderful community.  Our work together will be defined by our intentional actions of building positive relationships and a robust and rigorous academic foundation that will allow for all students at Cold Spring to excel and succeed not only under our care in elementary school, but in years to come.  Together we will continue the excellence that has been a defining factor of Cold Spring Elementary!

I have been with Montgomery County Public Schools for the past seventeen years. I began my career as a second grade teacher at Highland Elementary School. Later I moved into the Academic Intervention position and then made the switch to the Staff Development role. I spent two years at Gaithersburg Elementary School as a part time Instructional Coach and part time English as a Second Language (ESOL) coach.  I then moved into administration where I became the Assistant Principal and then Principal Intern at Kensington Parkwood Elementary School.  Each career opportunity has presented amazing learning opportunities and most importantly beautiful relationships with students, staff, and community members.

I am proud to serve as one of the many school leaders in the Wootton cluster!  My commitment is to ensure that Cold Spring is an inclusive school community where we inspire academic success, creative thinking, and social responsibility for all students today, tomorrow and beyond.

I am a proud wife and mother. I have three daughters who keep me on my toes constantly, challenge my patience daily, and fill my life with love, joy, and pride.

I am confident you will find I bring energy, creativity, thoughtfulness, and passion to my daily work as your Principal.  I am eager to meet your children and collaborate with staff to determine best approaches to meet their unique needs.  I believe strong relationships are critical to our work together and I welcome the opportunity to begin forming these with you.

If you need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to call or send me an email.  Follow me on Twitter @NHambrecht to see our Cougar PAWS in action!

All the best,
Natalie Hambrecht, Principal

Victoria Clark, Assistant School Administrator

I am thrilled to join the Cold Spring Elementary School team as the Assistant School Administrator! I look forward to continuing the fantastic work being done at Cold Spring by supporting a collaborative and inclusive environment where all students feel academically challenged and respected as members of the community.

I began my time in MCPS as a student graduating from Richard Montgomery High School. After receiving my Master’s in Music Education at Syracuse University, I returned to MCPS to start my teaching career at Kensington Parkwood Elementary School. There, I completed a Changing Education Through the Arts Certification at the Kennedy Center, where I developed my passion for using the arts to educate students academically, socially, and emotionally. After eight years at Kensington Parkwood ES, I continued my career as the music teacher and Instructional Team Leader at Olney Elementary School, where I also completed an internship for my Educational Leadership Certification at Hood College. I have been honored to work with passionate and caring educators throughout my career who have inspired me to lead with a student-centered approach!

I am lucky to have a beautiful daughter, a loving husband, and an endlessly energetic dog! We spend our weekends together hiking, boating, and exploring new parks around town.

I am eager to work with you and our students to create a community of passionate, lifelong learners! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or needs you may have.
