Safeway Helps Raise Money for College Gardens

Summer Math and Reading Activities

Wondering what you can do to help your child continue learning over summer vacation? The staff at College Gardens has designed an incentive plan to help motivate your child to read and do math activities regularly.Our theme this summer is “Imagine the Possibilities.” Linked above is a reading calendar for the months of July and August and math activities that you and your child can complete together.You will also find information on the Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program.

Summer ebook Access!

Did you know your child has access to a wide variety of ebooks this summer. Two ways to access them are through Capstone's free summer access link (login/password on Media Center webpage) and through the MCPS OverDrive ebook catalog SORA (use students ID# and password). Click directly on the Media Center webpage above on the CGES website or the link above for access to both.

Volunteering at College Gardens - MCPS Mandatory Training

We hope you will be able to volunteer sometime this year whether it is helping in the classroom, participating in a classroom party or chaperoning a field trip. If you do, MCPS has new guidelines regarding volunteering including a MANDATORY ONLINE TRAINING. This training must be completed before you may volunteer in any way at the school. You may do the training online at home or at CGES in the Main Office. Click on the link above for more information.
