Overview

Edison is proud to partner with Montgomery College (MC) to provide our students with      opportunities to earn college credit while still in high school. Edison offers students      college credit-earning opportunities through dual enrollment coursework and        articulated credit with MC. Our philosphy is that college coursework combined      with powerful work-based experiences in their CTE programs best prepares our    students to lead, work, and be prepared for an exciting professional future.

Many MC department chairs also serve on the different foundations and Program Advisory Committees (PACs) which bring education and industry together to support Career Technical Education (CTE) programs and provide opportunities for our students upon program completion. They add expert value to a student's career preparation experience.

Dual Enrollment

Edison coordinates the following college coursework for eligible students in specific programs. Eligible students work with Edison's Dual Enrollment Program Associate (DEPA) to enroll in these courses. The DEPA can also help students connect to coursework specific to their career program that is offered through MC online or in-person on campus. For all other course registrations, the student should meet with their home school DEPA.
