About Our Kindergarten Teachers
Ms. Kristen Friedland Hi, my name is Kristen Friedland, and I am so excited for another year teaching kindergarten! After joining the staff of Great Seneca Creek Elementary last year, I have discovered what an amazing school it is! I love this wonderful community! Though I grew up in southern New Jersey, I went to the University of Maryland and have been living in Maryland ever since my college graduation. I have been teaching in Montgomery County since 2001. My parents, brother, sister-in-law, and nephew still live in NJ though, and I love visiting them, especially in the summer! I love reading, movies, walking, yoga, going to the beach and pool, spending time with friends and family, and traveling! I am looking forward to another fantastic year at The Creek! Ms. Kristin Berney I am entering my 15th year of teaching, all of which have been in Kindergarten. I was born and raised in Montgomery County. I attended all MCPS schools. I went on to earn my Bachelors degree and Masters degree from the University of Maryland. I am the proud mom of three! We enjoy playing outside and reading books. I love to visit the beach, watch football, and spend time with family! I also love all things Disney and my favorite Disney character is Moana! I'm excited for a great school year! Ms. Becca Redman Hi there! My Name is Becca Redman and I am so excited to be teaching Kindergarten again this year!!! I have an awesome husband and daughter and we love anything involving outside!
