The 2025 HWMS Spelling Bee is here!

I entered the spelling bee, and my word was "knot."  I asked if it was not spelled with a "K."  The pronouncer said "Yes, it's ‘knot’ spelled with a ‘k.’"  I ended up losing.  What’s the difference between Harry Potter and a spelling bee contestant?  One conjures spells---and the other spells “conjure.”  I was offended when my friend suggested that I was bad at spelling, so, when he challenged me to a competition—I excepted! 

The 2025 Hallie Wells Middle School Spelling Bee will take place in the cafeteria after school on Tuesday, February 18th.  The sign-up form will be available in the media center beginning Monday, February 10th, and the deadline to sign up is Friday, February 14th by 3:15pm.
