Weekly Update for the Week of March 17, 2025 Good evening Cavalier Families. This is Ms. Adamson–Proud Principal of Kennedy High School–with your March 17th weekly update! This Wednesday, March 19th, all students in the 11th grade will take the SAT for free. All students report to school at the regular time for various activities, while 11th graders and select others will take the SAT or other practice tests. Seniors will have the opportunity to earn SSL hours. Please make sure your student is in school on this important day. The Hall of Fame and 60th Anniversary celebration is this Saturday, March 22nd, at the Argyle Country Club. We are still accepting donations, as well. All of the information to contribute goods to the silent auction, or to make a donation can be found on the website. The next Family Market is this Friday, March 21st, at 1:30, just in front of the Kennedy auditorium. Please remember to bring your own bags. The Group of Latino Families United (GOLFU) Parent Meeting Will take place on Thursday, March 27th, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm in the Kennedy High School Media Center. Please use the registration link to confirm your attendance. Registration link: https://forms.gle/vQBpMqZmLaCJoZJ16 We are continuing our practice of Hall Sweeps when students are late to class. Students who are tardy will receive a lunch detention when they are late to class. Please help by getting your student to school on time and by encouraging them to go straight to class when the bell rings. Please continue to remind your students to wear their ID everyday (to avoid being charged for a new one). Remember that we are a closed campus, and the IDs help us to ensure that only our students are in the building, especially during lunch.
