winter and spring athletics

The middle school interscholastic athletics program is available for students in seventh, and eighth grade and consists of three sport seasons, including fall (cross country and softball), winter (basketball), and spring (soccer). All students interested in participating in any athletic season, as part of the MCPS interscholastic athletics program, must complete the online registration process. 

Registration is done electronically through the Kingsview Athletics Registration form (CLICK HERE).

Please be sure to upload the physical and medical card to the registration link prior to the deadline.

Students interested in winter sports (boys and girls basketball) must submit all required paperwork by Monday, November 22nd.  Tryouts for fall sports will begin Tuesday, September 14. NEW MCPS COVID-19 PROTOCOLS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETICS - Effective for Winter & Spring Seasons (Basketball & Soccer)
Beginning Monday, December 6, the start of the winter sports season, all high school and eligible middle school student-athletes will be required to submit proof of full COVID-19 vaccination prior to participation. This requirement applies to the winter and spring sports seasons, as well as all out-of-season activities conducted through MCPS Athletics.
