PARENT REMINDERS:
Yearbook Sales: Time is running out to purchase the 2024 yearbook. If you are interested, please visit: Jostens Yearbook Ordering 2024. Cost $55 – there is a payment plan is available at checkout. We cannot guarantee a yearbook unless you preorder by Sunday, February 25, 2024. If you are unsure if you ordered, please check here Jostens Yearbook Tracking. Fall Pictures: All students were photographed in October 2023. If you did not order a fall picture package for your child in October, there is still time! Please visit: Fall Picture Ordering 2024. Pictures can be viewed using your child’s student ID number and parent email. Please feel free to direct questions regarding picture day or online ordering to the Victor O’Neill Studios (VOS) office: underclass@vosphoto.com
Spring Pictures: Our spring picture day is taking place on Friday, March 8, 2024, during periods 1-3. Victor O'Neill Studios will only be taking Spring Pictures of students who sign-up to get their picture taken. Please indicate interest in having your student's photo taken by completing the Spring Picture Interest Form 2024 by Friday, March 1. The number of photographers available on picture day, will depend on how many students sign up to get photographed by March 1. If you DO NOT complete this form, your child WILL NOT be photographed on Friday, March 8. Your student's online gallery will be available approximately one week after picture day. If you have any questions leading up to picture day, please reach out to Victor O’Neill Studios by emailing underclass@vosphoto.com
International Night: We will be hosting our International Night on Friday April 19, 2024, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Please complete this form if you would like to share your culture at our International Night. Deadline to submit the International Night Interest Form 2024 will be Wednesday, April 3. COMMUNITY EVENTS
Montgomery County is happy to present MoComCon, an all-day event celebrating all things comics, graphic novels, and fandoms on Saturday, March 2, 2024, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. This is the county’s version of Comic-Con that are so popular nationally. This is a cool opportunity for any of our students who are into Comics, Sci-Fi, role playing, etc. Please see attached flyer for more information.
Keeping It Safe Student Video Contest! Students create a 30-second PSA to increase the awareness of under-21 alcohol consumption. The last day to submit entries is March 31, 2024, by 4 pm. Each student that enters will receive 5 SSL hours. Please see attached flyer for more information.
The videos for this year would be under the following categories:
- Topic 1: Standing Your Ground: Fighting Peer Pressure from Friends to Drink
- Topic 2: Ways to Help/Support Friends Who are Misusing Alcohol
- Topic 3: How Alcoholic Drinks Affect Mental Health
