Physical Education
Hello, my name is Dave Horn and I am the Physical Education Teacher here at Little Bennett Elementary School. I have been teaching for over 25 years and I absolutely love my job! Remember what Confucius said... "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." I am also a Nationally Board Certified Teacher (earned in 2009).
I was born in Wilmington, Delaware and grew up in the Newark, Delaware
area. I went to college at Salisbury University where I majored in
Physical Education. I was also a four year member of the Salisbury
University soccer team.
I am married and have two children, Lucy and Dylan. We live in Urbana, Maryland.
Some of my hobbies include mountain biking, traveling, hiking, skiing,
playing soccer, reading, bicycle touring, and trekking up to Philly to
watch the Philadelphia Eagles!
