 Magruder Music and Theatre proudly present the spring 2025 musical, Once Upon A Mattress!
This musical comedy retelling of the classic fairy tale “The Princess and the Pea” is lively, toe-tapping fun for all ages! The performance runs two hours with a 15 minute intermission.
Many moons ago, in a far-off place, Queen Aggravain decreed that no couples could marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, found a bride. Princesses came from far and wide to win the hand of the prince, but none could pass the impossible tests given to them by the Queen… until Princess Winifred the Woebegone, a royal with a knack for high notes and lower-class antics, tried to prove her worth by passing the Sensitivity Test!
