Getting to School

    Buses

    If students live more than 1.1 miles from the school, they are assigned to a bus. Students will not be allowed to ride any bus to which they are not assigned without a written request from the parent. Some buses are full and cannot accomodate additional riders.

    Walker/Car Rider

    If students live within 1.1 miles of the school, they must walk or be driven to school.

    If your child is a walker:

    • Assist your child in finding a safe, regular route to school
    • Know the route your child takes to and from school
    • Remind him/her to cross with the crossing guards (and set a model example by crossing in crosswalks yourself)
