    The NCC Community would like to welcome Ms. Stacey Rogovoy as the new Principal of

    North Chevy Chase Elementary School, effective July 1, 2024. 

     

    North Chevy Chase Community,

    I am thrilled to introduce myself, Stacey Rogovoy, as the new principal of North Chevy Chase Elementary School, serving our amazing students in grades 3 to 5. Joining this esteemed community dedicated to educational excellence fills me with great excitement and gratitude.

    Allow me to share a bit about my background and vision for our school. With certifications in Equity & Excellence in Education from McDaniel College, Administration & Supervision from Hood College, and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh, I bring a wealth of experience to this role. Most recently, I served as the Principal of College Gardens Elementary School in Montgomery County Public Schools, for 13 years, where I navigated complex challenges, including those posed by the global pandemic, with resilience and innovation.

    Throughout my tenure, I've prioritized fostering inclusive environments and promoting student success. My leadership at College Gardens was marked by a commitment to equity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. I firmly believe in accessible and collaborative leadership, where open communication and collective problem-solving drive positive change. These values align seamlessly with the principles upheld by North Chevy Chase, and I am eager to continue championing them within our community.

    As we embark on this journey together, I am committed to listening and learning from each of you. Your input and insights are invaluable as we work towards our shared goals of educational excellence and student empowerment. Together, I am confident that we can build upon the strong foundation already in place at North Chevy Chase and create an even brighter future for our students.

    I am deeply grateful for the warm welcome I have already received from the North Chevy Chase community, and I look forward to getting to know each of you better in the days and weeks ahead.  Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your principal. I am excited to embark on this journey with you and to work collaboratively towards our shared vision of educational excellence at North Chevy Chase Elementary School.
