Henri Rousseau
We researched the French artist, Henri Rousseau. First, we watched a PowerPoint about his life and art. Then we completed a facts web using the software, Kidspiration. We accessed The National Gallery of Art's website, www.nga.gov/kids/, to learn more about his style of art. Next, we created a jungle scene using the template on the National Gallery of Art website. Finally, we wrote a story to go along with our Rousseau inspired jungle illustration.
