I am honored to be the new principal of Rock View ES, leading a school with dedicated staff and a supportive parent and school community.  I will commit myself to supporting our school’s vision, building upon student’s social-emotional well-being and academic excellence.
My educational career spans over 20 years with Hillsborough County Public Schools in Tampa, Florida.  In this time, I served 6 years as an elementary classroom teacher, 1 year as a magnet school of the arts lead teacher, 5 years as an assistant principal, and 9 years as an elementary school principal. I am proud of my leadership accomplishments including building positive relationships, increasing student achievement results, engaging families in the school community, and ensuring continuous learning for all.
My initial goals for Rock View are to support a strong school culture and instructional leadership to move every student each day towards career and college readiness.  Successful schools have very regular communication, community and parent partnerships.
It is a great privilege of mine that you have entrusted me to become a part of your community and your children’s academic journey.
