MAP Growth Reading (MAP-R): Thurs. Sept. 23, 2021

Homeroom on these testing days will be from 8:15a.m. - 10:11a.m.

2021 Early Fall MCAP Assessments: The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) used the flexibility granted by the United States Department of Education to extend the 2020-2021 state assessment testing window.

MSDE has scheduled an early fall 2021 assessment window during which shortened versions of the 2020-2021 English/language arts assessments (grades 3-8 and 10), mathematics assessments (grades 3-8, algebra 1, geometry and algebra 2) and the Maryland Integrated Science Assessment (MISA) (grades 5, 8 and high school) will be administered.

Rocky Hill's Testing Dates:

  • English/Language Arts: Oct 5 - 6
  • Math - Oct 7
  • Science (MISA) - Oct 14

Parent Tips: How to Help Your Child Prepare for the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP):

  1. Review the types of questions your child will experience by visiting, practice.mapnwea.org.

  2. Allow time for your child to take the practice test (username: grow password: grow).

  3. Make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats a healthy breakfast
