English Department Mission Statement:

The English Department at Rosa Parks Middle school strives to create a comfortable and safe learning environment where students are able to develop a willingness to take risks, a love of learning, and an ability to think critically about complex texts, as well as analyze pieces of writing from other authors and apply those techniques to their own.
