Winter Trees

In Art, Primary classes have been talking about the seasons and the changes taking place in the trees. Students collected leaves that feel and used them to make leaf rubbings using black crayon. They made browns, oranges, yellows, and greens by mixing primary colors. Students created colorful sunset skies that we see in the fall by using oil pastels and watercolor. They used a variety of brushes in various sizes to create the tree trunk and branches observing real branches and a log that had very bumpy bark.
