    7th & 8th Grades Odessa Shannon 2024-2025 Athletics Information

    Students 

    7th and 8th grade student athletes interested in athletics, must have their Athletic Medical Packet FY24-25 turned in and cleared by Coach J. before participating in tryouts or practices. Student athletes can pick up Athletic Packets from the main office, their Coach of the interested sport, and/or Coach J.. 

    Review this year’s Athletic Season 24-25 to see what sports are offered, tryout dates, game schedules, and athletic requirements in order to participate for OSMS athletic teams.

    Parents can pick-up student athletes at 4:30 PM at the front of the school building or student athletes can take the after school activity bus

    Athletic registration is done electronically through the ParentVue Portal. Information regarding middle school athletics registration can be found here. Below are some helpful resources to assist parents/guardians with the online registration process and with securing a physical evaluation prior to in-person engagement.

    Parents/guardians must complete the online registration process for students participating in the MCPS interscholastic athletics program, prior to participating in practices or tryouts.
