8th Grade Team
At Silver Spring International Middle School, we want to ensure a positive middle school experience for all of our students.
In middle schools, interdisciplinary teams provide an essential structure to support the success of each student within the team. Teachers from each academic area meet on grade level teams to design lessons with a common theme, and plan special activities.
Some team meeting days are reserved for Professional Development in order to explore techniques and theories that will enhance student learning. Over time, teachers monitor the impact of these techniques on student achievement through a variety of data analysis processes.
