Pumpkin Week 2007
After weeks of anticipation; after all spare change was collected and counted, Washington Grove was painted orange for the arrival of the pumpkins! A long standing WGES tradition, the pumpkins arrived on October 22nd. Classes went to our makeshift pumpkin patch and picked their favorite pumpkins which they then cared for and worked with all week long. They measured them, weighed them, painted them, decorated them, wrote stories about them, and finally, took them home at the end of yet another unforgettable Pumpkin Week!
