Illness Policy
If students have a fever, diarrhea or are vomiting, they must stay home from school. In order to return to school, they must be fever and symptom free for at least 24 hours. Please remember you must call your child in sick to the office, and also send a note when your child returns to school.
Medication at School
If your child requires prescription medication while at school, it must be administered through the health room. Authorization to administer the medication must also be on file in the health room. You can download the forms below.
- Authorization to Provide Prescription Medication - This form can be used for oral medications, eye drops, inhalers, etc...
- Authorization to Provide Medically Prescribed Treatment- This form can be used for treatments such as nebulizers for asthma
- Emergency Care for the Management of a Student with a Diagnosis of Anaphylaxis- This form is used for children who require epipens.
