Summer Reading
If you are looking for a fun summer reading program, look no further than the MCPL Summer Reading Challenge. They have lots of fun acitivites and prizes planned for the summer. You can also find recommended book lists by grade level (make sure to choose the grade you will be in this fall). The MCPL Summer Reading Challenge begins on June 17 and ends August 31.
Another fun option for summer reading is summer reading bingo. Print out the Bingo Board and keep track of all the fun ways you read this summer.
You can also find summer reading material using our online resources. Please log in with your MCPS Google account to view the usernames and passwords.
Summer Math
This guide can be used by families and caregivers who would like access to resources that support student learning, including material covered during the math block of summer school programming. MCPS has provided resources for two different platforms, Zearn and Khan Academy, both of which are free of cost.
