Middle School Athletics for the 2024-2025 school year are open to all 7th and 8th grade students. All athletes MUST be registered on ParentVue. Physicals (form SR-8) must be filled out by a medical professional prior to any type of participation. Physicals are valid for up to two years. Copies of the SR-8 form can be found HERE. Practices/Games occur every Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday after school from 3:10-4:25, or later on game days.

IMPORTANT ATHLETIC DATES

Winter Athletics:  Boys and Girls basketball

• Registration opens October 28th
• Deadline for registrations is December 9th
• Tryouts begin December 10th

Spring Athletics: Boys and Girls soccer

• Registration opens January 27th
• Deadline for registrations is March 10th
• Tryouts begin March 11th

Intramurals:

Intramural sports is for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Intramurals will take place after school 2-3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.  They take place 3:15-4:20, students who stay for Intramurals have the opportunity to take the activity bus home. A permission slip is needed for a student to participate in Intramurals.  The permission slip is available below.  It can also be found in the main office for your child to pick up.  Permission slips can be emailed to the Intramural director Jason Thibeault Jason_L_Thibeault@mcpsmd.org. Intramurals will begin shortly, they will NOT be meeting this week.  An update on intramurals will come later this week.
