Out-of-School Time (OST) opportunities are designed to provide students and families with engaging options for students on days when school is not in session. These in-person and/or virtual activities will address academic skills, physical and emotional wellness, art and digital learning skills. Except for MCPS Student Service Learning opportunities, these activities and resources are not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by the Montgomery County Board of Education, the superintendent, or the schools.
Montgomery County Recreation partners with Montgomery County Public Schools to provide quality, no to low cost out-of-school time opportunities for youth and families. Our recreation activities and services allow youth and teens to make the most of their time outside of school. Through these various outlets, we help young people to become healthier, gain leadership experience, develop career skills and connect with caring adult role models.
