Let’s Talk Careers Speaker Series Open to Secondary Students (Title)

Calling all middle school and high school students! MCPS is launching Let’s Talk Careers, a monthly live speaker series highlighting MCPS alumni from a variety of fields, such as healthcare, entrepreneurship and engineering, who will share their career journeys. The first one will be Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 10–11:30 a.m. and feature CAVA co-founders Ted Xenohristos, Ike Grigoropoulos and Dimitri Moshovitis.

Students can submit questions prior to the session and live through YouTube chat.

You can watch on the MCPS website or on MCPS-TV (Comcast 34, Verizon 36 and RCN 89).

A Community of Support For Families In Need (Title)

The COVID-19 Pandemic has deeply impacted many families in Montgomery County. The MCPS Educational Foundation, the Montgomery County Council of PTAs volunteer network, and MCPS is asking our very giving community to support the Families Helping Families campaign. Funds donated to the MCPS Educational Foundation Crisis Relief Fund—COVID-19 will be exchanged for grocery gift cards and distributed.
