NOTICE

On November 12, 2013, the Montgomery County Board of Education (Board) rescinded the Tentative Action that was taken on June 13, 2013, on Policy JEE, Student Transfers. After reviewing the more than 220 comments received from the public, the Policy Management Committee believed it was necessary for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) staff members to conduct further analysis on the impact of the proposed changes on the Change of School Assignment (COSA) process and all MCPS Choice and Application programs. Additionally, the Board emphasized that, in accordance with the current policy, it will enforce the April 1 deadline for all COSA applications.
