Counseling Information

Whether you are coping with a big issue, or are looking for support, the EAP provides professional, confidential counseling to you and to the adult family members living in your home. We offer up to eight sessions of short-term counseling and work to address your individual needs related to a wide variety of concerns, such as:

  • Managing stress
  • Job-related challenges
  • Family or couples issues
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Grief and loss
  • Alcohol and other drug use
  • Financial issues
  • Domestic violence
  • Balancing work and family
 

The EAP also provides:

  • Consultation to supervisors on how to deal with difficult situations
  • Workshops for employees and supervisors
  • Referral to community providers and resources
  • Critical Incident Response
  • Information on the MCPS Dispute Resolution Program

Your Employee Assistance Program is a no-cost benefit offered to you by Montgomery County Public Schools. EAP Intake Forms

Call 240-740-6500 (Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) to schedule an appointment. Once you have scheduled an appointment with an EAP counselor, please click on the following links to access our intake forms. You can complete the forms online and return them via email to the EAP, or print and bring them with you to your first appointment. Please note that the signed Statement of Understanding is required by your first appointment. If you have questions about any of the intake items, you may call us at 240-740-6500 or ask when you come to your first meeting.
