    The staff, students, and families of Galway Elementary School will be contributing members of a learning community that focuses on rigorous and relevant instructional experiences.  This will be accomplished through:

    • Effective communication with all stake holders
    • Progress monitoring of instructional practices and student performance
    • Collaborative planning
    • Developing partnerships with families

    Our Leadership Team worked together to create a School Improvement Plan that focuses on reading, math, and school climate: We are actively making an ongoing commitment to intentionally engage in practices that promote opportunity, equity, and inclusivity by identifying, interrupting, and dismantling racist and bias practices.

    Our Motto: Readers are Leaders!

    Galway Pledge

    The Galway Pledge articulates the values and beliefs that our school community finds important to instill in the leaders of tomorrow: We pledge to respect one another, to be trustworthy and fair. We will care about each other, and be good citizens. Above all else, I will take responsibility for my actions, in a quest to build a better you…and a better me.
