Galway Chronicle Weekly Update February 9-February 13
Good evening Galway Families,
This is Principal Fuller with your weekly updates for February 9–February 13. Thank you for your continued flexibility as we adjust to winter weather. Our school calendar has been updated to reflect date changes for events affected by last week’s snow closures and late openings.
I would like to extend a special thank you to our PTA for hosting our first Hispanic Committee meeting this Friday evening. We appreciate the continued partnership and commitment to building a strong, inclusive school community.
This week also brings some exciting events for our students. The Kids Heart Challenge begins, and our Spelling Bee competition kicks off on Monday. We look forward to seeing students participate and shine in these activities. The link to the parent newsletter is here: https://app.smore.com/n/ru5qy
If you would like more information about county assessments, the Maryland Report Card, or our school improvement efforts, please consider joining us for the General PTA meeting on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
Finally, we kindly ask for your support in helping keep arrival time safe and smooth for everyone. Please drive carefully, follow the designated carpool lanes, and remember that late-arriving students should not enter the bus loop before 9:40 AM. Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership.
