Description:

Northwood High School’s AMTAD Academy proudly presents Sophocles’ Antigone, a Greek tragedy written in 441 BC. The story follows the attempts of Antigone, the daughter of Oedipus and Jocasta, to bury her brother Polyneices, who was killed in battle against his own city. Antigone defies the law of the king of Thebes, Creon, who has forbidden the burial. The show runs from April 2nd through April 5th at 7:00pm in Northwood’s Black Box Theatre. Tickets are $10 general admission.
