PTSA & Booster Club

Our PTSA, NAACP-PC, and Boosters Organizations are key to our success. Our amazing organizations are offering a joint membership option that allows for a 20% discount. Membership forms can be found below or at qohsboosters.com and at https://qohsptsa.memberhub.com/store. I urge you to support these worthy organizations which do so much to support our school and help us provide the best education possible to our students. Dear amazing QO Community,

The QO PTSA is looking forward to another great year! The more great people we have on the PTSA, the more we can do! Below is a summary of some of the speakers we had at the PTSA meetings who all provided very valuable advice for parents and students!

Presentations held last year included:

  • Montgomery County training about the risks/dangers of opioids and FREE lifesaving Narcan provided to all attendees
  • Calmer Schools presented about Stress vs Anxiety and how to help
  • Kentlands Psychotherapy presented about their counseling services and testing for ADHD, anxiety, etc. and admission testing coaching
  • Media Specialist Antoinette Silvera presented advise for staying safe on-line
  • Prom/graduation safety advice presented by Shulman Rogers Law Firm
  • International travel opportunities
  • Stand Out College Prep spoke about college scholarships
  • Suicide Prevention was presented by QO’s in house School Psychologist
  • Everest presented guidelines on the College Application process and differences between the ACT and SAT.
