About Richard Montgomery H.S.
Richard Montgomery High School serves a diverse population of approximately 2,450 students in grades 9 through 12. Our school is located in Rockville, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C.
Over the past several years, the school has been recognized for academic excellence. Richard Montgomery High School was ranked a gold medal and the #5 best high school in the state of Maryland, by U.S. News and World Report. Also, Richard Montgomery High School was awarded the Blue Ribbon in Education Award by the United States Department of Education. Richard Montgomery High School is proud to be home to one of the top International Baccalaureate Diploma Programmes in the world as well as the Middle Years Programme for all students in grades 9 and 10.
