Prom Ticket Sales

Prom will take place at the Rockville Hilton on May 18th from 8:00 p.m. -11:30 p.m.

Tickets for Seniors only will go on sale on April 24th, 25th, and 26th. Starting April 29th, ticket sales will be open to Juniors and Seniors between April 29th and May 3rd, or until tickets are sold out.  Make sure you buy your tickets early, we sell out every year!   

Tickets will be $55 and sold during lunch in the main gym. If paying by check, you must have the exact price of ticket/tickets, your student ID, and the student’s name on the check. In order to get a ticket all obligations must be paid. 

Any Senior who would like to bring a non-RM guest will need to have the appropriate form completed and a photocopy of the guest’s ID ready when purchasing the ticket.  Allow yourself time to get this done. The form can be found in the senior class google classroom or in the main office. 

If you are bringing an underclassman as your guest and they go to RM, they must be with you when you buy the ticket and have their school ID.

National Honor Society Tutoring & Applications for 2019-2020

Tutoring – the NHS members are offering tutoring to students via a one-on-one matching process. If you need assistance, please use the following link to sign up:  

New Member Applications – Applications for the spring induction will open on February 25 and will close on April 2 with the induction on April 23. Eligible 10th and 11th grade students should fill out an application for consideration. You can pick up forms from Mr. Hinsvark’s room (Room 219) or Mr. Gandhi’s classroom (Room 351).

Spring Break Trip to China

Interested in a trip to China this spring as part of Richard Montgomery High School’s sister school exchange with Chongming High School and Yangtze Secondary School in Shanghai. Read the information below for more details.

Please read through the information packet thoroughly for important travel information, itinerary, registration information and deadlines.

The final deadline for registration is Monday, October 22, 2018.  Spots will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis. Specific information regarding payment and this process is included on page 9 of the information packet.  Please read it thoroughly.

9th Grade PSAT Information

The following link will allow 9th graders, who participated in the practice PSAT on October 10, 2018, to log in to the Kahn Academy and view their scores. Students can also access additional test prep opportunities.

Homecoming Outside Guest Form

Please use this form for outside guests who would like to attend homecoming. Please make sure all signatures are completed on the form prior to submitting to your grade level administrator. Forms should be brought to the main office well in advance of ticket sales. Administrators will not sign forms during class time and may not be available before school, after school, or during lunch. Make sure you plan accordingly.

Buy a 2019 Yearbook

The cost of the school year book is $84.80 (tax included) until October 7. The price increases by the following dates: October 8-November 18, $90.10 (tax included), November 19-February 15, $95.40 (tax included). From February 16- the end of the year, $100.70 (tax included). You can order online at or see Mr. Arenas to submit your yearbook order form.
