Please note that parking at RMHS is extremely limited. All numbered spots on either side of the building are reserved for staff only. Any unauthorized cars parked in a numbered spot are subject to towing at the owner's expense. Visitor spaces are labeled on the pavement or by sign above the space in the lot on Fleet Street, not in the parking lot by the stadium. There are additional street parking spaces available for a fee on Fleet Street. Visitors on November 10th may also park in the bus loop if arriving after 7:45 a.m. and departing before 1:45 p.m. when buses need to be parked in the bus loop.

On Monday, November 10, 2023, RMHS will host a parent visitation day. We invite caregivers to visit Richard Montgomery HS that day from 7:45 a.m.-11:10 a.m. and 12:05 p.m.-1:45 p.m. This is not a day to request meetings with teachers about specific concerns or your child’s performance. Instead, this is a great opportunity to see the incredible teaching and learning at RMHS. Parents and guardians are invited to visit their student’s classes as silent observers. In advance of your visit, we encourage you to bring a copy of your student’s schedule to follow. You can access your child’s schedule on ParentVue online or via the phone app. We encourage you to print or use your cell phone to take a picture of your student’s schedule. Once arriving at the building, visitors will sign in with security at the main entrance and be given a visitor sticker to be worn while in the building. Once signed in, visitors may go directly to the student’s classroom for that period. Visitors may pick up a map, bell schedule, and, if needed, their student’s schedule at the Art Gallery across from the main office. If visitors need further assistance, a place to sit during an off period, or a cup of coffee, they may come to the Visitor Reception Area inside the Art Gallery across from the main office. Representatives from the PTSA will also be in the Art Gallery to provide membership information and additional assistance.
