Richard Montgomery High School

On Wednesday, March 20, 2024 Richard Montgomery High School will offer the SAT free of charge to all Grade 11 students as part of MCPS’ SAT School Day. This SAT testing day is an opportunity for all members of the Class of 2025 to take the SAT during the school day at their local high school.The Make-up Day for the SAT is Thursday, April 4, 2024. We will have a modified bell schedule March 20 to accommodate testing. 

Members of Grades 9, 10, and 12 will not need to report to their first period until 12:15 p.m. Buses will run on a regular schedule, so please consider your child’s transportation needs on this day. Students not testing who arrive at RMHS at their regularly scheduled time will be participating in an extended Rocket Refresh period in the cafeteria and will be expected to access their coursework until testing is completed and classes resume for the day. Some students may be invited to complete credit recovery work or student service learning opportunities.
